“We, as proud men and women, have chosen to build an association based on principals of self-determination and self-empowerment. Through self-empowerment, we will continue to celebrate and share the rich culture of our forefathers, while pursuing the honorable profession of Firefighters dedicated to saving lives and property”. -VHB Mission Statement

The Valley Hispanic Bomberos is a non-profit organization of firefighters and associate members who are passionate about serving our community. We are dedicated to promoting fire safety and prevention, and to mentoring young people who are interested in a career in the fire service.

Founded in 1986, the Bomberos have a long history of making a positive impact in our community. We have developed programs such as smoke detector walks, water safety campaigns, and educational workshops. We also provide scholarships to high school and college students who are pursuing a college degree.

Our mentorship program is one of our most important initiatives. We pair young people with experienced firefighters who provide guidance and support. Our mentors help our youth develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the fire service, and in life.

We rely on the support of private donors and businesses to continue our work. Please consider making a donation today to help us advance and strengthen our community outreach and mentorship programs.

Together, we can make a difference.

A deeper look into who we are and what we stand for:

Words like "Teamwork," "Perseverance," "Brotherhood," "Strength," and "Tradition" are displayed on the wall.
